Note Cards - Your Business Slam Dunk!

Every great salesperson or business executive should have their own personal note cards. They should be on the desk, out and opened at all times. With the exception of picking up the phone and calling someone sending them personalized note cards is the next best thing. Why?

In sales it's all about staying on somebody's radar, if you don't, they tend to forget about you. Why not stand out from the crowd by keeping in touch in a highly personalized and professional way? Sure, there's email and there's voicemail, and even mass mailers. But, nothing says I respect you and appreciate your business like the occasional note card that really sets you apart from the crowd.

Making people feel special and appreciated will win them over every time. If you have a brief meeting with someone, the minute they walk out the door you can jot them a quick note. It's all about respect and caring. Remember business is about strengthening relationships, the stronger your relationships are the better your business will do. Sometimes even a phone call isn't enough. During a phone call you have to listen and respond, you don't control the environment and sometimes the conversation isn't steered where you want it to go. When you write a note card to someone you have the power of the blank page, you control every word and phrase. The written word is powerful stuff indeed.

There are so many ways to use these cards, you should be using them on a daily basis. If you do you'll notice a steady increase in repeat client business. It's simply a law of nature, people treat you the way you treat them. Treat them like gold and they will reward you, treat them like a number and they will disappear on you.

Want to get a busy CEO's attention, the one that you've been trying to get in and see so that you can pitch him your product or service? Calling his admin or dropping by his office aren't always the best way to reach super busy people. They can easily screen you. And sure they throw away most of the mail that they get.

But, what would happen if they got a small important looking personalized note card on top of the line paper? Well, first of all, they will open it. And then you've got them.
